26 Weeks

Just six more weeks till my babies are in the clear. If i make it to 32 weeks then they have a way greater chance of being neuralogically and physically normal. So far i am doing great and no signs of pre-term labor. All my doctors visits have been great and reasuring. No gestational diabetes but just a little anemic. The babies are super active but i don't feel them enough yet be bothered by it. We are still way excited for the twins and Lilly talks to them everyday.

Make-Overs

Lilly and I love to do make-overs together. it is a fun and simple way to bond and have a good girly time.

Coloring Eggs

Lilly and I had a blast coloring eggs Easter afternoon. She couldn't stop talking about it the rest of the day.

Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny left eggs for Lilly to find when she woke up and she loved looking for them. She got a basket with a traditional chocolate bunny and bubbles and play-doh. We all had a good Easter morning.

New washer and dryer!

We just invested in a washer and dryer due to the added laundry we will surely be having to do. We just love them.

I love my Memere very much. Visiting her has been one of the things i've missed since moving to Utah and i look forward to seeing her again in the eternities. She was such a kind, sweet lady and will be greatly missed here on earth.

More Tummy Pictures

Here are this months pictures of my baby bump. As you can see, i am steadily growing and i am definately bigger than i was at 22 weeks with Lilly. The babies are becoming more and more active and Lilly is still so excited to have a brother and a sister. She is always telling people that she is getting two babies.

update

Because we are having twins, we need to have extra ultrasounds to keep an eye on their growth and development. so, every month we get to have more ultrasounds. i have to say that i am excited because ultrasounds amaze me. i love to see them move around and see all their bones and bodyparts. we are all doing fine right now. the babies are looking great and growing fast. they are sure pushing down on my pelvis, though, and i am really feeling the pressure. i hope to make it to 28 weeks at work. the discomfort is getting to me, though. Clifford and Lilly are doing great, too. we are all really excited to welcome two babies. Lilly loves to play with all the twin dolls and accessories from Grammy's dollhouse. and it is cute because they are a blue baby and pink baby. she has pretty much forgotten about all other toys right now. the pictures of me are at 18 weeks, right after i found out i was having twins.
the ultrsound pictures are both profile views of each babies face. can you see?

Ultrasound Pictures

Here is the proof. It took a while to belive but i think it's sinking in that i am carrying TWINS! So, everyone was half right with their guessing, except my brother Abraham who stuck with his guess that it was twins, boy and girl. How did he know?

The Book was Right.

I joked that the end of this book we bought at the begining of my pregnancy was a sign. We bought it thinking it would be cute for Lilly but we never read it first. When we read it, i thought it would be funny if it was right. Who knew?
