Santa

We took Lilly to see Santa this last weekend at Tuacahn. We have really been hyping him up so that she wouldn't be scared and call him grandpa-Santa because she loves grandpa looking men. so she was excited to go. As we left our house we saw an airplane's lights in the dark sky. i told Lilly that it was Santa's sleigh and we were going to meet him. so, the whole 40 minute drive, she kept saying "santa, hohoh" and "where's Santa?" non-stop. Then, when we got there, she saw him and while we waited in line she would say "Santa, I love you" and "Santa, Come get me!". She sat right on his lap and told him she wanted Ponies for Christmas and smiled for the camera. We'll have to hype him up every year because she was so cute!

Lilly's Second Birthday Parties

we had two parties for Lilly's Birthday, one was at my family's. Grammy got her a Dollhouse which she loves. We got her a tricycle which she has wanted for ages. She must have remembered her smash cake last year because the second i turned around, she put her face into the cake. it was so funny. we also had a party at our home with friends and family. She had such a blast with everyone and pigging out on junk and opening presents. She loves to blow out the candles and now always goes around trying to blow out regular candles. I made the animal cupcakes, with the help of Clifford, to go for the zoo theme i wanted because she love animals and the zoo.

Lilly's New Favorite Book

this book is going to teach Lilly alot before next summer. in it it says "God gave us you, now he's given us TWO"

Trimming the Christmas Tree

we always put our tree up on or around my birthday because i can never wait. Lilly really loved helping me and handing me the ornaments. and Clifford always puts on the star. here is a glimps of our new place but i will post picture of that another time when i take some good ones.

i carved a Pooh Bear pumpkin for Lilly because she loves Tigger and Pooh.

What You've Missed....Halloween!

This Halloween Lilly wanted to be Tinkerbell because she is really into those movies and she makes us watch them all the time. so i made her whole costume, even the wings and i re-covered the shoes, too. she loved it and when i put it on her she kept twirling around. we had a fun Halloween.

we made pumpkin cookies and lilly really loved licking the bowl and it was ok because there are no raw eggs. she got so messy. and we also drew faces on little pumpkins and colored them and we had a lot of fun. we really were making the most of the Autumn season.

we have been up to alot. i am so behind on everything so here is a catch-up. every year i make a fresh pumpkin pie from a real pumpkin and this year lilly helped me out a little more by stirring the mixture and helping scoop the pumpkin flesh out. she really loves pumpkins and really enjoyed helping mommy. and here also are some pictures of Lilly at 21 months.

County Fair

Mine and Lilly's first fair. it was so much fun. My brother and his wife, Nick and Nathaly, came to visit in August and we all went as a family. Lilly loves animals and kept saying "go to zoo" and we went to the petting zoo. We also rode on rides and my favorite. shared a funnel cake. Yum!
