Halloween 2012

On Halloween, Lilly was able to dress up for school. While she was there, I took Bella and Tristan to story time at the library. I love my library's story times and this one was extra fun for Halloween with spooky stories, everyone dressed up and a craft and trick or treating and a costume parade around the library.

That night we had another little party for dinner at my sister's new home. Then we trick or treated around her new neighborhood.

Spooky Fair and Ward Party

I took the kids to a town Halloween fair with booths and fun things to do. They really liked it. Balloons and rides and candy, what else would a kid want? Oh, and digging around for buried treasure! Such fun!

Then we went to our ward party. The kids got to show off their costumes on stage. And they decorated cookies and played games.

Monster Mash!

I had fun throwing my family a Halloween party. Everyone had a blast. I made monster mouth pops and witch fingers and we ate BBQ slugs. We had a photo booth and shadow puppets and told scary stories and had a costume contest. And then we watched Hocus Pocus and Tristan kept saying, "scary" and covering his eyes. It was really cute. Bella, however, is not scared of anything. I love fun holidays and I love doing stuff with my family.
