Pinkalicious Tea Party

For Lilly's Birthday party we did a tea party and got all her little girl friends dress-up jewelry and feather boas and tiaras and they drank from little tea cups and ate finger sandwiches and jam cookies. Lilly's favorite book is Pinkalicious, so I made cupcakes similar to the ones in the book. She absolutely loved them and so did her friends. It was a fun, cute little party. Thanks to all those who could come and celebrate with us.

Lilly 3 Years Old

Lilly is now three years old. She is so smart and cleaver and inquisitive. She has recently started to ask question after question. Non-stop. Seriously. She loves to learn and know new things. And she remembers everything that we say and do. She will say: why did you do this? And it will be something from months ago. I hope she always keeps her good memory so she can remember things I can't. She loves to do crafts and help me cook. She is such a good big sister and shares her toys and blakies. She likes to build things with blocks or can goods. She cares about everyone and is a good friend. She is my wonderful, gorgeous, clumsy, happy three year old girl who pushes my buttons and tests boundaries. And I love her soo soo much!

Bella 5 months

Bella is still so sweet. She is calm and loves to touch peoples faces. She is content to study her hands and play with her feet. Her and Tristan have been talking more with eachother and watching one another. I love my little girl!

Tristan 5 months

Tristan is my handsome boy. He absolutely loves his little chick blankie, it can cheer him up and entertain him. He loves the jumper so much and doesn't bother me for a while when he's in it. He likes to swing himself instead of jumping and he often swings himself to sleep, so cute. The past couple weeks he has been having a rough time and won't sleep well and cries more. I think it is just bad growing pains because he seems to be getting way taller. I love my little boy!

Santa 2010

We saw Santa at Walmart and all my kids did fine. Lilly didn't want to sit on his lap, but with her, you can get her to do most anything with a good bribe. So she smiled for a picture to get her candy cane. I love Santa pictures.

Oh, Christmas Tree!

I love putting up the Christmas tree and this year Lilly helped alot with the ornaments. It is a good start to the holiday, although, this year I got a late start and didn't get it up till after December started. (So not like me.)

4 Months Old

The Twins are four months old now. They are both pretty happy babies and are mommy's babies. But luckily not too much that they won't go to other people. They just always demand my attention when I can't always give it to them (such as when it is time to make dinner or clean).

Bella is still my delicate little angel face. She weighs 14 pounds 1 ounce putting her in the 56th percent. She is 25 3/4 inches tall, in the 92nd percent. That makes her tall for her weight, making her look pretty skinny even though she is a healthy size. She is super sweet all the time and easy going. She is more patient now but still has her limits. When you reach those limits, she will turn bright red while screaming. But she is easily consoled if she gets what she needs.

Tristan is my mama's boy. He weighs a wopping 16 and a half pounds and is in the 77th percent. He is 27 inches tall and 96th percent. His head is an inch bigger than Bella's. He is still pretty proportional in his growth, just big. That makes him 2 1/2 pounds bigger and some people think he doesn't look like the same age. When he looks at me he makes me feel like I am the only girl in the world. He is so cuddly and I call him my teddy bear. He looks at me like he is in love and I eat it up. He loves my attention and makes me melt with his bright eyes and handsome smile.

I am still enjoying almost every minute as a stay at home mom. I love all my children and they show me how much they love me in every laugh and smile.

Rolling Update

Both babies are officially rolling over all the time. they even try to roll over eachother.

Eat Up!

We are starting to give Bella and Tristan rice cereal. Since it is not nutrtionally necessary, it is just to get them used to eating and for fun and in hopes that it will keep them full longer at night. That was the results with Lilly, anyway. So, much to my surprise, Bella ate way better than Tristan. She slurped it all down quickly. He kept getting his tongue in the way and couldn't coordinate his mouth very well. Not that he didn't like it, he just prefers mommy milk stait from the source to waiting for each bite from a spoon. They are both getting better each night but Bella still wakes up at night. Tristan most nights sleeps through the night. But some nights they take turns waking up every couple hours. Needless to say, I am perfecting the laying down possition while feeding, cause I am a zombie in the middle of the night.

Trick-or treat

This year we actually took Lilly out in the streets to trick-or-treat. She was dressed as her favorite cartoon character, Kailan. Bella was a pink kitten which is very fitting for her cute face and personality. Tristan was a dragon and that is good for him, too. He loves to scowl and grunt. It was fun and Lilly had a blast going door to door.

Painting

I have been spending lots of my few and precious free time painting my kids' rooms. First, I painted Lilly's room purple (or as she likes to call it, "purplicious" {such a fun book}). Then we found these cute sparkly appliques for her walls. I moved her to the other room and now put the twins by our room. I then painted their room bright green and got ambitious and painted animals on their walls. I got them a second crib finally, because they started to crowd eachother. And now I moved them to sleep in their own room. I only wish they would sleep longer every night.

Bonding

Our babies have been noticing eachother more, lately. It is so cute to see them stare at eachother. I can't wait till they can interact and play together.

Big Boy

Tristan already rolled over a few weeks ago. And the next day he was rolling more and more. He rolls both ways now. He is definatly developing faster than Lilly did. Bella rolls to her stomach but still can't get her arm out from under her. And she rolled from her stomach to back on accident once. Soon I am going to be chasing them around. Life is about to get real interesting.

Pumpkin Pictures and Spooky Jammies

I love dressing my kids in holiday outfits. So they all had Halloween jammies. I also love to do pumpkin pictures. So fun and festive.

I'm Gonna Miss....

I'm gonna miss these chubby legs this fall and winter. I love little chubby baby legs so much. They are so soft and cute and rolly polly.

Fire Trucks and Pumpkin Patch

It was fire safety week a couple weeks ago and the library had Firemen come and have a presentation for the kids. Lilly loves hearing fire trucks go by and says they are going to help someone. And she sometimes says she wants to be a firefighter. So I thought she would enjoy seeing the firetruck.

We took the kids to Stehli Farm for family night and we had a lot of fun. They have a pumpkin patch and hay ride and other fun things for kids. It was a good night.
