My Little Graduate

Lilly finished preschool last week and we are so proud of her. She worked hard everyday at school and learned a lot. She can count to 100, knows the pledge of alegance and can read some sight words and sound some words out. This school year has flown by so fast, I can't believe she will soon be in kindergarted.

Spencer & Steph

My brother got married in Hawaii and I helped plan their open house here in Utah. It was fun to help plan a special day for them.

So Proud of Our Graduate!

Screen Free Week

We did screen free week a few weeks ago and I thought it would be a lot harder, because my fall back to entertain the kids is to just put on a show when I want a little peace. And the kids are always asking to watch TV. We just filled our time with fun things to do together. We went to the splash park, took Buster to the dog park, got messy with cornstarch goop, stacked with sugar cubes, and visited a duck pond to feed the ducks. Plus, spent time at the library, read books and did lots coloring. It was a very enjoyable week without the noise of TV. And the kids didn't bug me to turn it on the whole time.

Holidays We've Celebrated

Valentine's Day St Patrick's Day Easter We did a glowing egg hunt, egg hunt with cousins, egg hunt at a car lot, and Easter morning.

Happenings in the Lowe House

I realize I have been neglecting my blog for a while now. Sorry about that. We have just been living life. We added an arts and crafts and activity station to our kitchen and have really been enjoying that. We paint, play with water beads (I made them suction cup pipes for pouring), we play with play doh, and paint in the bath and blow bubbles. We also play dentist, explore, eat lunch under the table, do science, loose teeth, play in dirt and play cards. I love my life at home and I love my kids and sharing in their childhood moments.
